Children's
Ministries
Welcome
to the Children’s Ministry of Spring Road Christian Church! This website is
designed to inform you about our programs and activities for preschool and
elementary children.
Can
learning about God
really be this much fun??
A kid at Spring Road might be tempted to ask such a question
because of the cool things that go on throughout the year here! Kids are
important and they matter to God! We love kids to Jesus Christ through
weekly activities on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights as well as monthly
and quarterly outings and big events. Come check us out and join in the
fun!
Youth
Ministries

The Youth programs at Spring Road are focused on connecting our teens
with God. Programs on Sundays and Wednesdays allow our teens to
get together, communicate, learn, worship, and pray. Come
see what our youth program is all about.
Women's
Ministries
The mission of
Women's Ministries at SRCC is to
enhance the spiritual growth of women; to provide opportunities of
fellowship and encouragement, ministry, and service for the individual and
the community. As the Bible teaches us:
Let the word of Christ
dwell in you richly as you teach and help one another.
Colossians 3:16
Bible studies for women
are offered on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 AM at the church. Child care
is available. Another Bible study is offered Tuesday evenings at
6:45 PM at the home of Karen Armes; however, no child care is available
during this study time.
An
annual Women's Retreat
is the highlight of our Women's Ministry, and is a great time of
fellowship and fun. Most importantly, it is a time of personal
growth in our walks with the Lord.
Crafts and cropping
nights are held occasionally for those who enjoy these hobbies and just a
night out with girlfriends. An annual fall brunch is
held and other activities are planned as our Women's Ministry grows and
reaches out.
Come

Men's
Ministries
Men's Ministries at Spring Road focuses on the total
spiritual and leadership development of the men at our church. We are
called upon to fill three purposes for God:
Friends - Evangelism
Many men in our church and society really need and
want a few true friends: men who will go with you through life's gauntlet -
celebrating victory, sharing grief and standing with you in good times and bad.
Godly men are shaped and tempered by other Godly men. Every man deserves a few bonded brothers.
Fishermen - Mission
Fruit can only follow farming. When Godly men
are bonded in biblical friendship, building themselves spiritually together,
they become fit and equipped for Kingdom work and service. Followers of
Christ are always involved in meaningful work - first in their families and
local congregations, workplace witness, service work, missions, and outreach.
Followers - Spiritual
Life
When a man becomes a follower of Christ, Jesus has
become his Savior and Lord. Discipleship is where the rubber meets the
road or the rut. Spiritual growth of our men is the top priority. Men will flourish as every man becomes committed
personally to daily prayer and bible study, accountable relationships, and
actively seeking God's will for his life. You
are invited to come explore the Men's Ministry at SRCC.
Drama
Ministry
The purpose of Drama Ministry at SRCC is to provide a theatrical
interpretation or humorous performance depicting one of life's
experiences. Through drama, we are able to allow the Holy Spirit to
convince, encourage, and uplift both the audience and the
participants. Drama Ministry reveals the love and grace, and reveals God's
purpose in a
most compelling and creatively vivid way. It visually conveys
godly principles with unusual clarity that touches the heart of adults and
children alike. Drama presentations are performed at various times
during the year. You can see recent
ones here.
Worship
Choir
Our
Worship Choir joins the worship service every three or four weeks. On
the weeks between, the Worship Orchestra is joined by soloists and Worship
Teams - singing groups of three or four people - that enhance the worship
experience. The full choir consists of thirty to forty people who are
committed to singing God's praises. We practice every Wednesday night
after the church dinner. Michael Plank leads the choir in an exciting
assortment of gospel, hymnal, contemporary, and praise music.
Worship Orchestra
Our orchestra is a wide variety of musical instruments and we are always
looking to add more. We are fortunate that we have enough musicians to
rotate the weekly assignments. The orchestra plays during every
service. View the 2008
servants' schedule here.
