Meet the Director

Laura Rubin has been the Director of Children’s Ministries at Spring Road Christian Church since December of 1995.  She graduated from Pacific Christian College in Fullerton, CA and got her elementary teaching credential from California State University Fullerton. She has been married to Perry Rubin since 1988 and lives in Auburn, AL, where Perry is the campus minister of Auburn Christian Fellowship.  They have three children, Rebekah, Rachel, and Noah.

Laura has worked in preschools, taught in a public elementary school, and also directed an after school program before coming to work here at the church. She has a heart for God and kids and desires that the children’s ministry at Spring Road be a place that supplements the family as they attempt to lay down a spiritual foundation that, in God’s timing, will lead a child into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
