Spring Road Christian Church
Located in the heart of the Valley,
Spring Road Christian Church is a non-denominational congregation. Our
mission is to simply "Love People to Christ." That means at Spring
Road, you'll find open doors full of grace. It doesn't matter what
color you are, how much money you possess, nor what you've been through in
the past, here you'll find open arms full of love.

Loving People To Christ: By
reaching out to others. We reach out to others through community events such as the annual Harvest
Festival in West Point. We are also in the process of renovating the
old Goodwill building in downtown West Point. It will soon be called
"Oasis" and will consist of a coffee house, a small concert hall, and a
youth center. Loving
People To Christ: By building others up.
We build each
other up through the many programs that Spring Road has to offer. From
small group bible studies to youth and children's programs, there's a place
for you! Loving
People to Christ: By touching the world!
Spring Road
supports missions all over the globe and not just financially. In June
2004, Spring Road sent a small team to the Ukraine for a time of teaching
and training.
What We
Believe

That we have a Sovereign God who is the creator and sustainer of all
things.

That the Bible is the inspired Word of God.

In the absolute Deity of Jesus
Christ. He is the Only Begotten Son of Almighty God and the Only way to
God.

That Jesus was born of a virgin.

In the sinful nature of
mankind; we are all sinners, falling short of God’s Glory.

In the atoning sacrifice of
Jesus Christ on the cross for our sins.

That Jesus physically rose
from the tomb on he third day after being crucified and is alive and
seated today at the right hand of God’s throne.

That we are saved by faith in
Jesus Christ; a repentant spirit; a public profession of Jesus Christ;
obedience to Him in baptism and continually growing in our faith in Him.

That one day Jesus will return
to judge the world and take us home to heaven.

That the church is His body,
bride, and we are the priesthood of all believers.
Story
So Far
Spring Road
Christian Church began it's ministry over 150 years ago in the Valley area.
Since that time, it's gone through many cultural changes and continues to
impact the community. We realize that a great church is not made up of
brick and mortar. A great church is made up of great people.
That's why our mission is to simply "love people to Christ."

First Christian Church moved to
Lanett, AL and changed their name to
Spring Road Christian Church.

Welcome to Spring Road Christian
Church. We are located on the northwest side of Lanett, Alabama at the
corner of N. 18th Street and Spring Road. Within this site you'll find
just a taste of Spring Road Christian Church.
We are people from various backgrounds
and ages who love Jesus Christ and have a passion for sharing His love
with you. This is a community filled with grace, due to the fact that so
many have experienced it. One aspect of our mission statement reads
"Loving People to Jesus Christ", and that's exactly what you'll find here
at Spring Road.
There is a spirit here of excitement,
joy, determination to grow in the Lord, and to be the community of faith
God wants us to be. It would be an honor to have you
worship with us this Sunday. We gather each Lord's Day at 9:15 a.m.
for Bible School and 10:30 a.m. (EST) for worship. We'll be looking just
for you.
